What do you do when servicing a tap?

When servicing a tap, you typically inspect and clean the components, replace any worn-out parts, and ensure proper functioning of the tap, such as addressing leaks or improving water flow.

How do you plunge a drain?

Ensure safety: Put on rubber gloves to protect your hands from any debris or dirty water.
Prep the drain: Remove any standing water from the sink or tub using a cup or bucket.
Get a plunger: Use a sink plunger (also known as a cup plunger) with a flat rubber cup and a sturdy handle.
Create a seal: Position the plunger cup over the drain, ensuring it covers the entire opening. Press down firmly to create a tight seal.
Start plunging: With the plunger sealed over the drain, push down forcefully and then pull up quickly. Repeat this motion vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.
Check for results: After plunging, remove the plunger and check if the water drains freely. If the water starts to drain, it means the blockage is clearing.
Repeat if necessary: If the drain is still clogged, repeat the plunging process a few more times. Sometimes it may take several attempts to completely clear the blockage.
